The explosion occurred around 10:30 p.m. BST (5:30 p.m. ET) as thousands of people were leaving an Ariana Grande concert.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said officials are "working to establish the full details" of the what police believe is an "appalling" terrorist attack.
Safety Check asks people in the area of the incident if they are safe, and publicly marks them as such if they say they are. Users can see which of their friends have marked themselves safe, and asks those in the area if they are.
Facebook has activated Safety Check more than 300 times in the last year, according to CNET. It was also turned on during the Westminster terror attack and after Hurricane Matthew ripped through the Caribbean, killing hundreds of people on the island of Haiti. It was first deployed in 2014.

HMD Global is helping Nokia come back with smartphones

Nokia Was The One Of The best brand in mobile industries till 2000 end after that it lost it popularity among world due to appla and android cell phones, now nokia is launching its first nokia phone with tha compatibility of running ios in it. Nokia is a storied brand with an iconic history, however, in the modern context its imprint is solely centred in the mobile phone space which it pioneered and nurtured till the end of 2000s.

Then it was struck by an apocalyptic storm of disruption which is the anathema of many an innovation machine. In the case of Nokia the disruption came in the form of Apple's iPhone which changed the mobile computing landscape in 2007. The iPhone paved the way for Google's Android to become the most powerful computing platform on the face of this planet eclipsing even Microsoft's Windows.

This scenario also churned out a series of events which included the union of Nokia and Microsoft, that resulted in both companies being rendered irrelevant in the modern context of mobile phones.

In 2013 Microsoft acquired Nokia's smartphone business to no avail that by December 2016 it had jettisoned all elements of the fateful acquisition. In the years passing, the remainder of Nokia had transformed into this powerful network infrastructure company and technological intellectual properties farm.

Facebook Messenger Home Screen Gets a Makeover

Messenger Day posts are now located below three new tabs at the top of the home screen: Messages, Active, and Groups. The bottom bar is also getting a refresh. It now has tabs for Home, Calls, the in-app Camera, and People and Games.

Once Facebook rolled out its Snapchat Stories clone inside Messenger, the app started to feel a little busy and disorganized. So, Facebook is giving Messenger a revamp.
Facebook Messenger overhaul
The social network is reorganizing the Messenger home screen in an effort to make it "your central hub for connecting with the people and businesses you want to in whatever way you prefer." Messenger Day posts still feature prominently, but are now located below three new tabs at the top of the home screen: Messages, Active, and Groups.
"By tapping or swiping to these tabs, you can quickly navigate to where you need to go and get messaging faster," Facebook wrote in a post on the Messenger page.
The bottom bar is also getting a refresh. It now has tabs for Home, Calls, the in-app Camera, and People and Games. When there's something new to check out in one of these tabs, Facebook will put a red dot there to let you know. When you receive a new message, for instance, you'll see a red dot next to the Home button. If you missed a call, you'll see a red dot next to Calls.
"These small changes are designed to make Messenger simpler for you – to help you get to your contacts quickly, jump into your conversations where you left off, start new chats, and stay up to date," Facebook wrote.
Facebook said it plans to roll out these changes worldwide on iOS and Android this week.
